Any advise for combining homes for four cats?
Combining homes, 3 cats already in house one, adding mine which is a fourth. In the house already are two fixed males and one fixed female (none declawed). Female is about 12, the two males are around 6. My cat is a declawed and fixed male of 12. He grew up with a pet dog but hasn't been around another animal in 7 years or more and seems to dislike even new people, let alone pets. start it off with a few hours of your cat in a cat carrier. let your cat get used to the new surroundings and let the other 3 get used to your cat. slowly introduce your cat and the others. if they start hissing make a small noise for them to understand that that is bad. they will start to understand not to attack but that they dont have to be around each other.
