Can a peachfaced lovebird be injected?
I am priya from India. I had a peachfaced lovebird whose species origin is Australia. It suddenly got affected my some infection which led to emitting mucus from its mouth, didnt respond or give sounds, too much sleepy and always looked puffed but it could fly, walk and stayed nearby sleeping. I took him to a doctor he injected the bird after 1 hour the bird became drowsy and suddenly died. Can you please tell me is that right to inject the bird?
