Can you give me some tips regarding cat training?
I have a cat named Juicy who likes to attack on my little sister who is almost 2 years. I am wondering that is there any tips that I can use to train them to not to do those things like clawing or biting her in a short space of time. Give some tips. To train your cats effectively, you can understand that the way cats think and what drives their actions. Cats need to learn some behaviors with certain outcomes. In the learning you need to teach them that there are things that can give those rewards and there are also some things that give them the punishment. They have sharp memory so if you teach them one time then they will remember for their whole life. Give him a treat if he behaves well. Answered by Ellie 1 year ago

Most of the times the cats do these kinds of things while playing too roughly and you need to teach them using proper toys. When interrupting him any time he can become too rough with you as well as your little sister. Compress air gun or squirt guns are the right weapons that you can use to teach them the difference between the right things and wrong. Answered by Crazycat 1 year ago

Handy small water gun or spray bottle are good way to teach them that there is something that they had done wrong and now getting the punishment for that. Don’t drench the kitty but free or burn the kitty with the normal water. It works if your kitty does things that he should not do. Answered by Marcee 1 year ago

You can use the spray bottle every time the cat goes attack and lightly spray your kitty with it. Cats hate water so do it every time your kitty attempts to do this and they will learn it as a no-no. Also give him some more time and play with him and be friendly. You can give him a cat scratching posts or a cat climbing tree. Don’t play roughly because it makes them aggressive.
