Can you suggest me with some useful tips required for taking care of Hamster?

Pine Bedding or Cedar Bedding should not be placed for your Hamster. They release some toxic kind of smells which are not good for the Hamster. This can also arise the skin irritation in your Hamster. So use the caregrash bedding, this is soft and provide warm to your Hamster. Answered by Bobmaster 2 years ago

I too have a Hamster, but I don’t think it’s very necessary to clean the cage always once in a week. As I don’t do this, my Hamster only use his cage for sleeping otherwise he always be outside the cage for playing on his wheels or with the Cardboard Cubes. I left him with my kids as they take more care than me. They enjoy playing with him. I only took care of his food product. As you should give them some type of wood so that they can chew them otherwise their teeth can become big and than don’t like to eat further. Answered by Nessa 2 years ago

You should feed them with good, fresh and clean food always. This is the best way to care for them. Even the Hamster Cage should be kept cleaned always and washed twice in a week. The cleanliness environment will surely care your Hamster in a best way. Make him supply with fresh water always for drinking. An Exercise wheel can be kept for his regular exercises. If you have Syrian Hamster than you need to take their extra care in regards of the cages. If you have more than one Hamster then you should keep them in a separate cage. As you want to have some tips regarding the care of Hamster than there are some useful tips that I follow with my Hamster. During winter months you should add some heat to the Hamster cage so that he can warm himself. During hibernating period you should take an extra care of your Hamster, the most efficient way of taking his care is to use a space heater in his room. The appropriate heat for them is about 72 – 74 degree. Give him some thing healthy and fresh to eat so that he can gain his energy from the given food. I give my Hamster a bit of peanut butter and honey. Hamster also loves scrambled eggs and cucumbers. Answered by Hammy 2 years ago
