How can I stop one of my cat from chasing/hounding my other cat? This is a bit of a strange one... about a year ago a tomcat began hanging around my house (I have 4 female cats all neutered) I finally traced the cats owners and they had him neutered in the hope he would stop roaming but a few days later he was back at my house. We have returned him to his owners serveral more times but has come back and has since moved in. The problem however is he's begun an obsession with one of my cats, she's a very petite black and white cat with an already nervous nature but he just won't leave her alone. If he see's her around the house he chases her and once he has her cornered he just looks at her, to my knowledge he has never attacked her. I've given her beds on tables, chairs etc to keep her out of his reach but I often find him sitting over her just watching her sleep until she realises and freaks out and then another chase ensues, I worry it's causing her stress. I've also noticed when he sees her he does a strange little meow. Not sure it matters but he's a grey and white tabby around 3-5 years old. I suggest getting your cats something for them both to play on. The cat trees, also known as climbers, furniture, condos etc. They are great for your pets to play on, get some exercise and they have sissal posts for yur cats to scratch their claws. This was a perfect solutions for my kitties.
