How can I take care of the ball python snake?
Recently I have bought a ball python for the Christmas. But I haven’t any idea about the taking care of it. What is the ball python care sheet? What should I feed her? You must have aspen wood chip for the bedding. There should be a water bowl and water must be changed daily. When you wake turn on the light and when you are going to sleep turn off the light. OK, first of all buy a nice aquarium with tanbark bedding, the heating pad for bottom, the water bowl and the heat lamp. Give her one mouse in every 2 weeks. Frozen mouse are not as good as live so give her a live one. Never take her out right before she sheds or right after she eats. You can keep a rock in the aquarium on which she can shed. Ball python is not an active snake, so you can use 10-20 gallon tank for the younger ones and 30 gallon tank for the adult one. If you are making ball python as a pet then it is very essential that you know each and every things about python. You should be well educated about the pythons. If you are a beginner then ball python is not the correct choice, as she may be very difficult to handle and she requires lot of work. You can choose other reptiles like leopard gecko. The tank should not be very high but it should be enough wide so that she can completely stretch herself. You can take 55 gallon fish tank. It must have a proper lock. In bedding you can use artificial turf which is inexpensive and very easy to clean. You can also make use of alfalfa pellets, newspaper or newspaper.
