How can I train my cats to eat out of their own bowls?
I have three cats that I love to death. I have Chloe age 8 who is bigger then my other cats conbined. I have Prince Harry, going on three years, he's a little on the stupid side but so cute. Finally, four months ago I found Matilda, 20 months, my sassy simease whether you please or not.
Now, I love my cats all the same but Im struggling with food distribution. All three cats eat the same food (Performance Ultra, hormone free) Ill get up to feed their completely empty dishes then see that I need to feed them again around three hours later. Chloe is a ragdoll cat, making her very big (going on 17 pounds) I've been told by a vet that ragdolls are naturally big I shouldnt be concerned about her eating habits or weight but Im worried that she eats out of all three bowls and the other cats dont get as much as her. I figure the best way to resolve this is to train them to eat out of their own bowls. I have three bowls lined up, but as soon as one is empty they move onto another one. Does anyone know how I can train them to eat out of their own bowls without refilling them all the time?
