How do I get my puppy to not be afraid of going outside?
I have a 6 month old eski-pom and she won't walk outside. When we go out she sits at the bottom of the steps and shake like she is afraid. I try to take her out everyday to let her adjust but it's not getting any better. What can I do? I am lost? In Dog behavior & training Asked by Mdisu 1 Answer 320 Views 1 year ago Resolved |

Take her outside and away from the house. This way she will not see her way back to safety and be more inclined to listen to and trust you without the distraction of the home. Bring a favorite toy and/or some treats. If there is a park nearby, try to see how she will react to being with other dogs or at least let her watch them play. Do this for about 15 minutes at a time to start and then you can work you way up. Just remember to make it fun :-) Answered by Janice-HK Animal Speak 1 year ago
