How do get my cats to get along with my new puppy
I have two cats one is at least 6 or 7 (male) (had him for 5 years) the other is 3ish (female) (Had her for 2 1/2 years) we just got a new pitbull puppy (female) two days ago only a few months old at first the cats just stayed away from her and slowly the younger one got closer and closer but would still hiss the larger one just started getting on the floor and semi close well one thing led to another and they all ended up trying to walk through the same door the younger cat attacked the puppy and my older cat in turn attacked the younger cat then the puppy ran the younger cat chased her attaching her and of course the older cat chased the younger cat attacking her and the puppy got stuck in the middle by the end of everything my two cats were FIGHTING (they have never fought in a mean and serious manner before and i have had them for 2 1/2 years together) i dont know what to do please help?? how do i get them use to the puppy im scared that if they dont get along before the puppy grows up that the "DOG" shes grows into will hurt my cats!!
