How do you control a cat’s behavior?
Two months ago I acquire a roommate and she has a cat. She told me that she had one cat and moved in but the cat is so indiscipline and it is a strange thing that the cat is with her for over a year but sometimes don’t obey the orders and do his own things. In these two months he knocks my movies and books from my shelves everyday. I really enjoy my roommate but I am fade up with that cat’s behavior. Have any advice to keep this thing control? You don’t control a cat’s behavior because generally they do what they want and when they want. You can say that the cats are mean actually. They are just being what they are and there is nothing so serious in it. Cats are just opposite to dogs that are known for their obedience. They are habitual animals. Some cats are more laid back and some are more curious into things. You just have to care them gently and let them be comfortable with you. Answered by Crazycat 1 month ago

I was already known to this problem and I was using the squirt bottle on all my 6 cats from day 1 and now all we have to do is to point on them and they obey all the orders that we give it to them. I also read that the put some pennies in a coffee can or something metalish and shake it. It’s pretty loud and startles them to get them to stop. Answered by Marcee 1 month ago

There are many types of spray available that are created according to the cat behaviors. For scratching problem there are sprays available. You can also get it from a Pets mart. All you need to do is to spray it on your furniture or things where they scratches. When they do something bad then use the squirt bottle and right away squirt it. If you don’t do this thing at the time then they will don’t understand why they are getting this punishment. Clapping your hand and say “No” sharply can also teach them that they are doing wrong. Hi dear, the first thing you do is to confront the roommate. It’s because if you start discipline her cat then she may resent you for it. This may cause serious problems and can be the problem in the housing agreement. You may try things like squirt gun. It works wonders and is not harmful to the cat too. Other things can be the scruffing. It also doesn’t hurt the animal if it is done gently. Answered by Ellie 1 month ago
