How to check a stray dog, whether it is healthy or weak before adoption? Hello friends! I'm gonna adopt an ordinary puppy from blue cross society of INDIA within this week, How can i choose a good dog with perfect health condition? please help me friends? Because 4 months before i adopted a dog called chester, i realized that he is very week only after 3 days, and he died with a week after adoption. So please give me some ideas for choosing a good puppy though i have to choose them among all kinds of stray pups. I'm gonna adopt an ordinary puppy from blue cross society of INDIA within this week, How can i choose a good dog with perfect health condition? please help me friends? Dear Deepak: There is no way to know for certain unless you have a vet check the puppy and probably pay for blood tests. Usually, the puppy is ok. You might try adopting an older dog one to two years in hopes that anything wrong will have shown up. Also be sure your dog gets his shots when due.
