Is Crate training helpful?
Some of my friend suggest me to “tie-outs” my dog or strictly follow crate training because they run wild in the house and not do potty outside. By doing this they can learn well behavior. Crate training is provided to dog to learn well behavior. In this, there is no outside activity except for eating and going for potty. But I think crate trained or tie-outs dogs will go crazy when they enter in to the house. They go wild in the house because they don’t know how to behave in the house. You should consult with dog trainer for this answer. He can give you the better one. Trainer trains your dog in every approach and makes him social. This is not that dog that is under the crate training or tie-outs will go wild when he enters in house but if you leave them tied out all the times then he never able to learn well house behavior. Tie him when he is eating or you haven’t so much time to supervise him. Love your dog and make them to feel your love. Answered by Fandango 2 years ago

Puppies are just like a child, you have to teach him how to behave. Train him with your love. Befriend with this animal and after you train him he realizes well behavior in house. Crate is the safe place where he can live when he is young and naughty but not for the whole time. You are right when you give them strict crate training or tie-out outside for long period of time then they will not be able to know how to act in house. Let them free to run to house and move everyplace. Answered by bluepit 2 years ago

When your dog is small and not go outside for potty then you can go for the crate training or tie-out him. But crate training doesn’t mean that dog will remain in the crate for life time. Crate training is provided to dog to give house training, means to make him understandable about to go outside for potty. This should for short period of time when dog is small. After that or time to time enter him in house to make familiar with house and other family member so that he can understand how to behave with people and in house. Answered by Anthony 2 years ago

Caret training is good but I think you should not tie out your dog always. For a time when you are busy with some other company or with your family member then only tie out your dog other wise let them free to move in house. In the starting he will wild in the house but when he familiarizes with house then he will not go wild in the house. You can provide crate training to your dog if he doesn’t go outside for potty but as soon as he starts behaving obediently then you can take him with you in house. Answered by Unclesam 2 years ago
