Is my parakeet hurt?
Well, its about my parakeet named Pepper. On Friday or Saturday I saw him on the bottom of the cage, he was in the corner, not puffed up or anything and when I picked him up... He couldn't perch or get on my finger, so I started to worry. He can fly, eat, drink water, chirp, and his droppings are perfectly fine but he just can't walk. I did try clipping his nails and his nails were kind of long and he is still like that. Its been about 3 days, he sleeps on top of my cage because I have 2 birds and the other parakeet is in the cage. I don't have a seperate one. I will NOT put him down and I refuse to, he doesn't seem to be in pain of any kind and hopefully someone can help me out. And when he does fly, he fly's up to the sheet on the window and sometimes balance's himself out between it, the sheet is folded. AMAZINGLY, he was able to get on the sheet 4 times in a row when he flew.
