Lots of urgent hammie questions
I just got my very first Short Haired Hamster, Her names Pepper. I got her 4 days ago and so far I think she is really getting to know me, She is not scared anymore unless I put my hand in her cage I have some questions though... well I remember the first time I had a hamster. For your 1st question I would say rather you have water that has a chemical that is bad for her. 2nd well she isn't that big. Hamster's don't grow big so just give her enough space to run around. 3rd almost every hamster will store there food in a small space. So just clean it out every other week unless her waste is in the food. 4th for holding her try just letting her crawl in the palm of your hand. And once she gets used to that you can try something else. 5th go ahead and put her in the ball just let her do her own thing and she can stay in there for about 30 minutes.
