He may probably play as they do play ruff sometimes and it may be painful too. As time elapses he will be grown and learn the difference between right and wrong. He attacked on your husband because plenty of time your husband plays with him and hardly anyone else so he is so close to your husband. It may be possible that due to this he misbehaved like that. Give him little space and he will grow out of it and chase female cats and mostly sleep but next time when he get ready to do ruff things, do some loud noise and he should go running but should go running but he will learn slowly.

There are some extremely subtle signs that show that they are not feeling good and need space. The signs are:

1. His ears become fixed in direction, probably slightly back or flattened
2. His whiskers go back or down very slightly
3. He ripples his fur
4. His eyes squint down

These are some of the quite over signs of cat language and if you can’t understand these then you probably face the problems like cat attacks. My suggestion to you is to become aware of how long he seems to be able to handle stroking and learn to stop just short of that. Now sit against him and let him normal so that he will again become your lovely cat. Trust me he just loves you and can’t away from you for a long time. It just like that his little brain just fries easily.

Hi, Cats actually reacts strange to a noise or sudden movements in an aggressive way and it’s a natural and common behavior that you can see in domestic cats as well as other cats. It’s because they are so sensitive towards sound. As time passes, you will automatically learn while petting that what are the things that your cat likes and dislikes. Just avoid those disliking things and it’s the most simple and effective way to control your cat.

When I moved to new city, I adopted two kitties and one of them was little older than yours. But one of them has the same behavior that your kitty shows. He does exactly the same things. He is the cuddliest and loving cat I ever had but in the middle of petting I saw a strange behavior. He will all sudden turn around and bite very hard enough to take the blood out most the times. I was wondering about how those people treated this kitty so that it is behaving like this. May be your kitty was abused by a man so he goes afteryour husband and no one else and that’s why they are doing this. Just back off until he calms down and pet it gently with more love. I am sure he will not show that behavior again.

Cats have the tendency to scratch. There is nothing strange in it. They may scratch your doors, sofa, pillow, bed and almost all kind of things that he like to scratch. Due to that much love, he like to play and he was just playing. He is animal and animals don’t know what is right and what is wrong. It is sad that the kitty hurt your husband but this is a nature that is building if you play games which makes him aggressive. It means that avoid those plays that evolves rough play. While petting him play soft games and slowly he will be calm down after some time.
