My dog is smells obnoxious; what to do?
I have a 4 year old bassets hound and dot know why he smells very badly. I give him nutritive food to eat as well as bath him every week with a very good shampoo. But still the bad smell is still coming out from his body. Earlier I was thinking that it was because of saliva; so I began brushing his teeth but to no avail. He still smells. I have checked the ears and the anal glands and they are perfectly fine. In Dog products Asked by Komel 1 Answer 296 Views 1 year ago Resolved |

I think that it is really very abnormal for your dog to smell like this. It has to do with his digestion I think. Due to bad digestion, I think that your dog is farting a lot which results in that bad smell. When you are giving food to your dog try to add 2 table spoon of low fat and plain yoghurt to his meal. This would improve the digestive system and the farting would stop. Answered by Unclesam 1 year ago
