Seizures, Chiuahua mix slipped into convulsions - Any help?
I have a 2 year old chiuahua mix and last summer (living in Puerto Rico) he on two occasions slipped into convulsions. I assumed it was from the heat, cooled him dowm and relaxed him back to normal. Yet the other evening he was just playing in a more normal enviornment and slipped back into the same symptoms? Shaky, stiff, lost look in his eyes? Diet, health I don't know. Any suggestions? I have known two dogs where the vet didn't do anything, because the siezures were very infrequent. My dog had siezures and the vet put her on phenobarbitol. (It's inexpensive). I think this one is for the vet as there are several possibilities. Good Luck, Bernesebaby Source(s): Experience with dogs that siezure and my own vet. Answered by Bernesebaby 1 year ago
