If the bleeding is stopped you can let him go. If you want to keep him to take care of him then it will be more stressed for him. He will feel that he is in a prison. His chances of the recovery are much better on his own. I don’t know how he can recover but it’s true so let it be. It is very good that you want to take care of him but he will be fine on his own.

If bleeding is not stopped or if it was not a toe then I must say that you may give him a first aid and then take him to the animal doctor. But this type of the injury normally doesn’t even slow the lizard down.
