What is the cause of my cat behavior and how may I correct it?
My 18 months cat Is showing some new behaviors. When someone try to go out to the home or come in to the home the cat stands in front of him and it is almost impossible to go in or out of the house. He scratched the door and sometimes cry really loud which he don’t do normally. He like watching through window and always sitting and see what’s going outside. I do not understand his behavior please helps. In Cat behavior & training Asked by Annie 2 Answers 862 Views 1 year ago Resolved |

WELL. First of all you have to treat him really good. You have to understand him very well, at least try to understand him. Second you have to let him for walks. Maybe 3-4 times a weak. He have to see whats outside the house and learn more because as you said he keeps looking outside and I think he wants to get out because in this age he should marrie. I prefer let him out as I said 3-4 times aweek or bring another cat into the house because I think he want to know more CATS not more humen. And the reason of why he always keeps scratching the door is because he feel he is trapped by you. You have to make him feel releaced really well and feel he is in a place he wants to be in. Hope he gets okay. BEST WISHES! Source(s) ... Answered by rashab 1 year ago |

You told that your cat is an indoor cat but as per the behaviors, it looks like he is obsessive about going out. There may be other reason that he now smells other female kitty and want make sexual relation with her. If he is not well and reacting the same then he need emergency care otherwise the results will be worsen over time. If he has been fixed and other behaviors modification suggestions don’t work then possibly his neutering wasn’t quite complete and go to a vet to see it this is happened or not. If he recently fixed then there is some residual testosterone in his body and the problems with your cat should clear by themselves with a little more time. Answered by Mandy16 1 year ago
