What kind of aquarium would be best for me: Fresh water or Salt water?
I am thinking about buying an aquarium next month. I am really confused what kind of aquarium to look for. Some are saying that saltwater are good while some are urging me to buy a fresh water aquarium. Can anybody suggest me what kind of aquarium would be good for me along with reasons. IMHO, if you don’t want to take extra care of the aquarium and don’t have enough money in your pocket, I would suggest you to go for the freshwater aquariums. There are really no hassles required in maintenance of this kind of aquarium. Regarding the saltwater ones, no matter they are attractive looking but they are very costly and you would be having a hell of a time in its maintenance. Answered by Mermaid 1 month ago

There is no doubt that saltwater aquariums are really very pretty but it requires a lot of maintenance and money which everyone cannot afford. If you are looking for something easy, then I would recommend you to go for freshwater aquariums. Also there are many attractive varieties of fishes are available that are not only gorgeous looking but also little care is required in their maintenance like feeding, etc. Answered by Frodette 1 month ago

Saltwater aquariums are really very pretty and although I'm a beginner, I would recommend you to go for the saltwater ones. And apart from its look, large number of saltwater variety fishes are available that are not only pretty but are very easy to care after. But remember one thing that the aquarium is not very cheap and it would cost you a fortune to buy one. Answered by Sissy 1 month ago

I have both kinds of aquarium; freshwater as well as saltwater. Based on my experience I would suggest you that you should go for the freshwater one because they are very easy to take care after and you would be able to maintain it easily. You would have to bear a lot of troubles regarding a saltwater aquarium like maintaining the salinity of water and providing an optimum amount of temperature and all these stuffs. With the freshwater aquariums these problems are eliminated and price wise they are much more inexpensive than the saltwater ones. Answered by Fishy 1 month ago

There are 2 kinds of aquariums available; fresh water and salt water. Fresh water is not that good looking in comparison to the saltwater one. But as a matter of fact, the saltwater aquariums are really very expensive. On the other hand, the freshwater aquariums are really very inexpensive and are easily affordable. If money is not a constraint for you, then go for the saltwater aquarium. Answered by Raea 1 month ago
