What kind of fishes can be kept in 50 gallon water tank? I am just thinking about what types of fish would be ideal for a 50 gallon water tank. Tell me some of the different fishes that are easy to care for and they can stay peacefully in the same tank without ever hurting one another? What kind of fishes can be kept in 50 gallon water tank?

I am just thinking about what types of fish would be ideal for a 50 gallon water tank. Tell me some of the different fishes that are easy to care for and they can stay peacefully in the same tank without ever hurting one another?

Get 5 cichlids of the same species; 1 male and the rest female otherwise all the males would fight and might cause death. The different kinds of cichlids you can go for are Oscars, discus, angelfish etc. The other breeds of fish ideal for the 50 gallon tank would be tetras, guppies, barbs, cories, platies, gouramis etc. Since the tank is larger, the smaller fishes would make you very busy searching for them. Choose large breeds of fish like angel fish, gold fish etc. If you are thinking of developing a fish community in your water tank then never go for fishes like Black Ghost Knife, Tiger barb or Siamese Fighter.
