All the snakes are Poikilothermic means cold blooded. It means that your corn snake can’t regulate his body temperature. If there is no proper heating in the tank means very cold which may harm your snake. If the tank is very hot then the overheating can also harm him. It is very essential to maintain a constant temperature for your snake to live. Do not give food for many days prior to the cooling and also when it is going to defecate. This is because without proper heat it will unable to digest the food. Answered by Aston66 1 year ago

Corn snake must be placed in the 25 gallon tank. The tank should have the secure top. He must be provided a hide box and a branch for resting and climbing. In substrates you can use pine chips. But don’t use cedar chips as they are toxic. You can also use outdoor/indoor carpeting or Astroturf. If you are using Astroturf or carpeting then first wash it then dry it and then use it in your tank. The bowl of water should be placed inside the tank for him to drink and bath. The water should be replaced once in a week. Answered by Bill34 1 year ago

If you have a baby corn then you can buy a tank of 15 gallon. I have bought a 20 gallon tank for my corn snake because I know that it will grow and need more space. As a substrate I will recommend aspen bedding, reptile bark, or pine bark chips and if you want to save your money you can use newspaper. You can use heating pads to heat your corn’s tank. You can place it on one side of a tank. Don’t use heat rocks as it may harm your snake. In the tank you must use 2 hiding spots, one at the cool side and the other one at the hot side. Then you can put a water bowl but place it at the cool side. It should be enough deep so that he can dip his whole body in it. Answered by Redsnake 1 year ago
