If your daughter’s teacher has not given any instructions then you can put moist. Then you can put soil in a 2 lit soda bottle. The bottle should be clean but don’t use soap to wash it. Then gently put a small plant in the bottle. When I was small I had also made it. I made use of a wire hanger to make a hole in the soil. Then gently push the plants roots in the hole. Then you can push the soil with the wire to cover the roots of the plants. Insert the worm. That’s it your job is completed.

Now you can see the changes happening in the bottle. The terrarium will create its own environment and also rain on itself. You will see water drops inside the bottle. You should not put your terrarium in direct light of sun but it needs light. The end result is the plants will grow automatically without any input or watering from you.
