Which Food should I feed to my cat wet or dry?
One of my good friends told me to use wet food for my cat instead of dry food because there are many problems related with dry food. Is it right? If yes then what should I do to prevent this? In Cat food & feeding Asked by Tomcat 4 Answers 402 Views 2 years ago Resolved |

Wet and dry foods both are good for the cat but wet food is more beneficial for the cat because it provide the sufficient amount of water to the cat. But don’t think that dry food is not good. It is also good for the cat as it lets them to chew and to use their teeth. Wet food let them to chew more. My cat need only dry food. I feed dry food which has meat as primary ingredient. You know, dry food is not so bad for them. But it would be better for you to feed wet food. I am also feeding the wet food to my cat then dry food but dry food is in my food list because initially it is good. Answered by CALIC007 2 years ago

Yes, wet food is good in respect of health. But I think if you give too much wet food then it leads the condition of diarrhea. So beware of that and feed moderate amount of wet and dry food both. Answered by Crazycat 2 years ago

Yes, your friend is right. Excessive use of dry food is not good for the health of your cat so you should use wet food. There are several reasons to use wet food instead of dry food. First cats are not thirst drive mammal. They get lost of water from their food and for that you have to provide water in their food. So that they can get the water to avoid dehydration and other water deficiency disease. Answered by Marcee 2 years ago
