Which is easy to handle: a blue tongued skink or a bearded dragon?
I want to have both a blue tongued skink and a bearded dragon but it is very difficult to take care of both at the same time. Though I am a beginner so I like to start with an easy one. Of course bearded dragons as it is much gentler than the blue tongued skink. Since you are a beginner, so you should try bearded dragon and it can be easily handled as it is more tolerant. It is inexpensive, captive bred, and have limited requirements for its care. It also can be a great addition to the family. It is a great pet for the lizard beginners. It is very docile reptile which breed well in the captivity. It is famous because of its sociable natures and has a variety of the endearing behaviors that make him attractive to watch. I must say that blue tongued skink is the better option between the two. Bearded dragon requires a lot of heating and lighting temperature which has to be always at the correct temperature. In one day three times you have to give them crickets to eat. Whereas blue tongued skink are much cooler because of its blue tongued nature and it is very very easier to handle than the bearded dragon. Answered by Redsnake 2 years ago
