Which reptile is the cheapest reptile pet?
I am very excited to have a reptile as a pet; it may be a lizard or a snake or anything else. I am beginner and looking for an affordable reptile as the pet. Anyone know what will it cost? Let’s say that I am getting a reptile in free and only have to purchase the supplies. Can anyone help me in telling me how much I have to spend on the supplies? Is there any reptile which is cheapest than the anole? Yes you can keep anoles as it is the cheapest reptile to take care for. For anole you can make use of a 10 gallon tank with the screen lid. In substrate you can use soil and peat moss which may be covered with the layer of the orchid bark. It mainly eat crickets. The initial cost of the whole supplies will be of around 80$ - 120$. Then after setting up all the supplies you will require the monthly supplies that will be crickets and the substrate and it will cost maximum of 10$! Answered by Bill34 1 year ago

I would recommend a leopard gecko because it is the best beginner and the easiest reptile to care for. They are nocturnal it means they sleep most of the time. Therefore you can feed them either in the early morning or in the late night. A baby will eat 10-11 small crickets and an adult will eat 4-5 large crickets. You need to use dry hide bottle for the misting, 10 gm tank a humid, undertank heater, paper towel or reptile carpet, heat lamp, a water bowl, a digital tank thermometer and calcium for dusting crickets. The temperature should be 70F at the night, 80F at the cold side and 90F at the warm side. The whole set up will be of $140- $170 depending on from where you are buying.
